CCO Membership

Openings:

We have openings in the following sections!

  • Violin
  • Viola
  • Cello
  • Bass
  • Oboe/English horn
  • Bassoon
  • French horn
  • Tuba
  • Percussion

  • Those interested in joining us should email the personnel manager, or come a few minutes early to our next rehearsal so you can get to know the director and fellow orchestra members. Membership is open to musicians of high school age and above. Auditions are not required for adult members, but may be required for younger musicians. We currently have openings for strings, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, and trombone. Other wind players may sign on as substitutes to fill in as needs arise.

    The Columbia Community Orchestra rehearses most Monday nights September through early May, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, at Unity Church of Columbia, 1801 LeGrand Road. Click here for a MapQuest map to Unity Church.
